The Sims 3 Island Paradise – Screens, Trailer and a New Live Stream Early Tomorrow Morning

-

We were first introduced to The Sims 3 Island Paradise back in January 2013 when Electronic Arts unveiled their final plans for The Sims 3 franchise and the expansion was little more than in the early phases of development. Fast forward to next week and The Sims 3 Island Paradise will be available on store shelves, and you can take your Sims out of their ordinary neighborhoods and out onto the open water with houseboats, resorts and underwater realms to explore.

The Sims Studio have today unveiled quite a few preview goodies for Island Paradise including a new trailer that captivates the “fun in the sun” moments that await Sims in the new content, screenshots that do pretty much more of the same and the confirmation that they will be holding another live broadcast which eliminates pre-prepared trailers and hopefully will grant us a better look at the mermaids, monsters, shark attacks and underwater woohoo’s that await gamers should they decide to pick this up. The live stream is set to be broadcast HERE at 3AM AEST on June 19 2013 (10AM PDT June 18 2013).

The Sims 3 Island Paradise is currently available for pre-order and drops anchor in retail stores and for digital download on Origin.com on June 27, 2013. Players who pre-order will receive the Limited Edition version of the game that comes with the Island Survival Pack – a new set of content that equips your Sims with the necessities to scrape together an existence on a deserted island. As an added challenge, if 4,000 copies of The Sims 3 Island Paradise are ordered on Origin, everyone who pre-ordered before June 21 will automatically receive The Sims 3 Barnacle Bay.

New adventures await your Sims on the sunny shores and beneath the glistening waters in The SimsTM 3 Island Paradise, the next expansion pack to release from the The Sims 3 franchise. In this game, Sims will embark on an unforgettable journey or make themselves a new home in this bountiful utopia. Nautical Sims can even take the helm of fully customizable houseboats setting sail between islands and diving underwater to uncover sunken treasure.
