While the franchise is only a few years old and there is quite a lot of upcoming console releases which might make an interesting installment for the series – Compile Heart have confirmed that they will be rebooting (or spin-offing) the Hyperdimension Neptunia series on the Playstation Vita.
In collaboration with Felistella they have slated Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 for release this October in Japan, which will make use of similar assets and gameplay mechanics present in Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. One notable inclusion seems to be that they are going to return the focus on the original trio (Neptune, IF and Compa) and hopefully more of the creator characters that were almost omitted or given minor roles in Victory.
