Sony Computer Entertainment have today announced their “Christmas” December line-up for titles available through the Playstation Plus service. The Playstation Plus service, which was recently expanded to cover the PS Vita system allows users to subscribe to the service in return for monthly deals, free games and more. The biggest announcement of next months line-up (To be available on the 5th December 2012) is Batman: Arkham City, the sequel to the hit game Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds.

Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, the riveting sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.

Other Playstation 3 titles to hit the service include Vanquish from developer Platinum Games and publisher SEGA and the acclaimed puzzle-platformer Limbo. Playstation Vita gamers are set to benefit with a number of titles including Knytt Underground – the sequel to Knytt and Knytt Stories from Ripstone Games.
