You may recall last year that there was word that Japanese visual novel developer DigitalCute and Japanese video game publisher Alchemist (Behind other releases such as console releases of Umineko no Naku Koro ni and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) would be bringing an all-agesish version of their 18+ Bullet Hell game “Let’s Go Burunyanman!” (Aka. Soreyuke! Burunyanman and それゆけ！ぶるにゃんマン Portable) to the Playstation Portable. While the initial release was intended for late-2011, all word on the game stopped and there was no word on if the release was halted or dropped entirely.
Recent updates to the games website indicate the release of the game has been slated for the 2nd August 2012. This release should be dropping most of the original PC releases 18+ content – including the removal of Dark Burunyanman. Instead, while the two other main characters have been retained – they will be including a third new playable character Meinyanman who as the name suggests, has maid attire. The core gameplay however should not change much, if at all. I will share more information and assets once they are made available.
