As the third game in 5pb’s Science Action series which also encompasses Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate, Robotics:Notes is a visual novel that I hold high expectations for. The game, due for release on the Playstation 3 and XBox360 consoles in Japan on the 28th June 2012 has received a new trailer which details the inclusion of 3D character models on anime-inspired backdrops during dialogue, the games opening sequence and some CG artwork.
Also announced during a Fuji TV event was that the game will receive an anime release starting in October, handled by Production I.G. and being placed on the highly regarded Noitamina timeslot.
