GWB Entertainment and Andrew Henry Presents have confirmed the full cast for their staging of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, which will play limited seasons in Melbourne from 11 August and Brisbane from 28 August.
Directed by Neil Armfield, the production is led by Anthony LaPaglia and Alison Whyte of other returning cast members have been confirmed. Anthony Phelan (QTC’s Boy Swallows Universe) plays Willy’s older brother, Uncle Ben. Marco Chiappi, (Belvoir’s Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead) takes the role of Willy’s friend Charley. Paula Arundell (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) meanwhile plays The Woman.
Simon Maiden plays Howard, Elizabeth Blackmore portrays Miss Forsythe, Aisha Aidara also takes on the dual roles of Jenny and Letta. Joining the ensemble is Darcy Brown who will play Bernard and Stanley.
Death of a Salesman will be performed at Melbourne’s Her Majesty’s Theatre from 11-22 August 2026, before heading to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s (QPAC) Lyric Theatre from 28 August – 6 September 2026.
