The most recent major musical to arrive in Brisbane back in November, Chicago the Musical from The Gordon Frost Organisation and Jones Theatrical Group was a classic to break up the number of new musicals that had gone through the Lyric Theatre, QPAC during the year.
In the process of being performed at the Playhouse Theatre at Arts Centre Melbourne until Sunday 23 February 2020 (for what at this time appears to be the final leg in its 2019/2020 Australian Tour), you can read my original review of the Brisbane season HERE. You can also read more about ticket prices via the official Arts Centre Melbourne website.
While my review of Chicago the Musical primarily featured video recordings captured during the show’s media call, I would like to take the opportunity to share photographs I took during the event. Focusing primarily on the lead cast members – Natalie Bassingthwaighte as Roxie Hart, Alinta Chidzey as Velma Kelly, Tom Burlinson as Billy Flynn and Casey Donovan as Matron “Mama” Morton – you can find a selection of photographs taken by myself below.
