Remedy Entertainment to Bring Control to Next-Generation PlayStation and Xbox Consoles

Confirm game's soundtrack headed to vinyl

While it was not touched upon in either recent news blasts from Sony or Microsoft, the team at Remedy Entertainment followed up the recent PlayStation 5 Showcase livestream by confirming that their third-person action-adventure game Control would be released on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

While there are no further details outside of this tweet, one would imagine this would be a Definitive Edition of what is already available on the current-generation consoles, including enhanced visuals and all previously available DLC. Expect to hear more on this announcement in the coming months.

However, this is not the only news to come out of Remedy Entertainment. Mere hours ago, it was confirmed that a 16-song vinyl soundtrack would be offered via Laced Records while stocks last. Priced at £33.00 or local equivalent, this double vinyl set features music by artists Petri Alanko and Martin Stig Anderson; with expectations that it will ship in Late August 2020.
