Persona 3 – Manga Cover

As one of their newer acquisitions, Udon Entertainment seem to be doing well with their localisation of the Persona 4 manga series. With several volumes now on the market, it seems like demand has justified the artbook and manga publisher acquiring the rights to the manga adaptation of Persona 3.

Illustrated by Shuji Sogabe, Persona 3 will be available in North America this September. The first volume will be priced at $13.99, and will contain 162 pages within a softcover cover.

This manga series is an adaptation of Persona 3, first released on the PlayStation 2 by ATLUS in 2006. Weaving a story which is well-known even today, readers will follow a tale of a group of high school students known as the Special Extracurricular Execution Squad (Aka. S.E.E.S.). As the only people who witness a strange phenomenon known as the “Dark Hour”, a mysterious time that occurs at the stroke of midnight, they must investigate a mysterious tower which appears on their school’s campus during this period. But to survive the enemies which lie within and to save the world from the threat they pose, Minato Arisato and his friends must find the strength to call upon their inner selves – their “Persona”.

Udon Entertainment will release Volume 1 of this manga adaptation sometime in September 2016. The publisher also handles a number of official Persona artbooks including: Persona 4: Official Design Works, Persona 4 Arena: Official Design Works and Persona 3: Official Design Works.
