Viz Media to Offer Simultaneous Launch for Boys Over Flowers Season 2 Manga

BoysOverFlowers-Season2-KeyArtNorth American manga publisher Viz Media have today announced that they will be doing a free and simultaneous digital launch of Yoko Kamio’s shojo manga Boys Over Flowers when it is first made public in Japan on February 14th 2015. This release is taking place twelve years after serialization concluded for the first season.

In Japan, Shueisha will launch a special free, bi-weekly digital serialization of the new Boys Over Flowers manga season via its Jump+ manga platform beginning on February 15th (In Japan). VIZ Media also will feature each new chapter in English digitally simultaneous with the Japanese debut on the VIZManga platform. Each chapter may be only available for a limited period of time.

The English edition of Weekly Shonen Jump, published digitally, will feature the first three chapters of Boys Over Flowers Season 2 as part of the Jump Start initiative beginning with their February 16th Issue. It will also be available via the ComiXology digital platform and the Amazon Kindle.

The original 36-volume manga series and subsequent ‘Boys Over Flowers: Jewelry Box’ epilogue have been published by Viz Media previously.
