VIZ Media Acquire Two New Shojo Manga Series: QQ Sweeper and Idol Dreams

The North American anime and manga publisher Viz Media have today confirmed that they are expanding their range of shojo manga by two – with them acquiring the rights to Arina Tanemura’s Idol Dreams and Kyousuke Motomi’s QQ Sweeper. Both of these series will be published under Viz’s Shojo Beat imprint, and will be available via both digital and retail formats. Information on both titles can be found below:

QQ Sweeper

Kyutaro Horikita, the tall, dark and handsome cleaning expert of Kurokado High, is about to meet a sleeping maiden at the school: transfer student Fumi Nishioka! Fumi’s going to learn how to rid the school of nasty spirits with Kyutaro’s help, and her heart will surprisingly be “cleansed” too…! In the old campus of their school, a mysterious room has a door that beckons Fumi, even though she shouldn’t even be able to see it!  Manga creator Kyousuke Motomi debuted in the Japanese shojo manga anthology, Deluxe Betsucomi with Hetakuso Kyupiddo (No-Good Cupid) in 2002. She is the creator of Otokomae! Biizu Kurabu (Handsome! Beads Club) as well as the series, DENGEKI DAISY and BEAST MASTER (both are published in English by VIZ Media).
