-

darksouls2After their release of Dark Souls: Design Works a few years ago, international artbook and manga publisher Udon Entertainment have announced that an English localised edition of Dark Souls II: Design Works is now available for purchase. While some players may be too busy struggling to survive to appreciate the design work that went into building the game, this book provides contains over 200 pages which looks at the chilling monsters, locations, characters and monsters.

Inside you’ll find a full lineup of character, world, enemy, weapon, and other equipment artwork, rough designs, behind-the-scenes concept visuals, and an interview with the game’s creators. The DLC content is also featured in this book, with Dark Souls II: Design Works featuring concept material from all three chapters in “The Lost Crowns” trilogy.

Dark Souls II: Design Works is a 240 page, full-colour, hardcover artbook which comes in at 8.25″ x 11.75″. It is now available on store shelves, and can be picked up at an MSRP of $49.99.

Didn’t get a chance to pick up Dark Souls: Design Works? Udon Entertainment have also confirmed that a reprint version is now available on store shelves. You can read my review of this volume HERE.
