Crunchyroll is set to mark the 20th anniversary of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion with new Blu ray releases of both seasons, available on 3 February 2026. The series, produced by Sunrise, the studio known for Mobile Suit Gundam and Cowboy Bebop, returns in time for the milestone since its original 2006 debut.
The rerelease will cover Season 1 and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 (Season 2), inviting viewers back to Area 11, where exiled Britannian prince Lelouch gains the mysterious power of Geass and begins his attempt to reshape the world. Each season will be available as a separate Blu ray set. Both will include an exclusive art card as a physical extra, with Lelouch vi Britannia featured for Season 1 and Suzaku Kururugi featured for Season 2

Season 1 follows Lelouch Lamperouge, an exiled Britannian royal who acquires the Geass, an ability granted by the enigmatic C.C. that allows him to command others to live, fight or die according to his will. With this power, Lelouch sets out to avenge his mother and challenge the rule of the Holy Britannian Empire. On-disc, a range of special features will be on offer including:
- Episode commentaries
- Picture drama episodes
- English voice actor interviews with Johnny Yong Bosch, Yuri Lowenthal, Kate Higgins and Karen Strassman
- Textless opening and ending songs

Meanwhile, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 continues the story as the Holy Britannian Empire faces resistance from the Black Knights, who are struggling without their missing leader. Lelouch survives, but his memories as Zero have been erased. For the revolution to continue, the Black Knights need their strategist and symbol restored. The on-disc offerings for this season include:
