The anime adaptation of Bungo Stray Dogs, which premiered in April 2016, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in April 2026. In anticipation of the occasion, KADOKAWA has unveiled an official 10th anniversary logo and announced a year-long series of commemorative initiatives. Twelve monthly “Pre-Celebration Projects” will be held leading up to the anniversary, beginning with three initial events.
The first is a pair of all-night screening events showcasing the anime’s early seasons. Taking place at Cinem@rt Shinjuku, the screenings will feature guest appearances and include special giveaways.

In May, the Bungo Stray Dogs collaboration with the Chuya Nakahara Memorial Museum returns for its third edition. Running from 8 May to 30 June 2025 in Yamaguchi Prefecture, the event will include a panel exhibition, themed photo spots, and a stamp rally. Related merchandise will be available at Animate Hofu and a themed café at the Yuda Onsen Tourist Hub.
In June, KADOKAWA will continue its annual Bunko Collaboration Cover Project, with two new tie-in editions set to release as part of the initiative’s ninth year.
A year-long project titled Natsume-sensei’s Wandering Journey will also begin on 1 April 2025. The cat character Natsume-sensei, known for appearing in unexpected places throughout the anime, will be featured in a promotional collaboration across Animate stores in Japan and internationally.
