Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt OST Receives First-Ever Vinyl Release to Celebrate New Anime Installment

The Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt original soundtrack is set to receive its first vinyl release, coinciding with the upcoming return of the anime series after 15 years. Scheduled for release on 14 May 2025, this special edition — titled Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt The Original Soundtrack Analog Edition — is set to feature the original music of the first TV anime season.

Curated by m-flo member Taku Takahashi, the soundtrack features a lineup of artists, including TeddyLoid, Mitsunori Ikeda, Hoshina Anniversary, Booty Bronx, and Jun Sasaki. Known for its stylish and energetic techno sound, the music played a key role in defining the original anime’s chaotic and irreverent tone. Priced at ¥6,600 (tax included), the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt The Original Soundtrack Analog Edition will be available as a 2LP set.

The first pressing of the vinyl will be released in a bold, limited-edition clear pink and purple colorway. It will also include a gatefold jacket and a fold-out poster featuring the jacket art. As an exclusive touch for the vinyl release, Takahashi has rearranged the track order to create “The Analog Edition”. What does this mean? A different listening order, although the contents across all two discs / four sides is the same to the original CD release.
