Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online Dubbed Episodes Streaming on AnimeLab 1

Approximately one year after home video release distribution of the series commenced, all 13 episodes of the spin-off TV anime Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online are streaming English dubbed on AnimeLab. The announcement, made by Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment earlier today, now gives viewers a choice whether they watch the show officially online with either Japanese or English language audio.

You can begin watching the episodes by clicking here.

While all thirteen episodes can be watched by those with free memberships (in standard definition, supported by advertising), the new English voice track is only available to active premium subscribers of the service. Alternatively if you wish to own a physical copy of all thirteen episodes, you can purchase the Blu-ray sets from Madman Entertainment directly (HERE and HERE) or at your local anime store.

Continuing the narrative of Sword Art Online’s short lived Gun Gale Online arc, this anime features a cast of new characters. It follows LLENN, a female player of “Gun Gale Online”, who enjoys solo play in the world of guns and steel. A fan of anything cute, she covers her entire body with pink equipment, and with her steadfast play-style has gained much skill. Something made LLENN realise her enjoyment of player killing ― causing her to become totally engrossed in PKs, ultimately given the nickname “the pink devil”. One day, LLENN comes across Pitohui, a beautiful and mysterious player, and they really hit it off. LLENN, on Pitohui’s word, decides to enter the team event “Squad Jam”.

AnimeLab is an online anime streaming service managed by Madman Entertainment. It’s accessible only to those residing in Australia and New Zealand and offers a basic service free with video quality, dub and availability timeframe limitations. For those looking for access to no simulcast delays, no ads, full back-catalogue access and high definition video can take advantage of a premium subscription membership for $7.95AUD/month or $79.50AUD/year.
