While the recent cluster of COVID-19 cases is something that everyone in Sydney should be concerned about, performances of Pippin the Musical in the Sydney Lyric Theatre and Frozen the Musical in the Capitol Theatre are going ahead this week. This follows an announcement last week, made as a result of a cluster of cases on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, that performances from 22-24 December inclusive would not be going ahead.

All patrons booked into any of the cancelled performances have already been contacted about the cancellation, and had their tickets either rescheduled for a later date or refunded. Given we are still in the midst of a pandemic, additional cancellations may occur in the interest of public health.

Foundation Theatres owns both the Sydney Lyric Theatre and Capitol Theatre. If you wish to know more about their COVID Safety Plan for either venue, click HERE and HERE (Capitol). If you do have tickets for the next couple of weeks, please read the document carefully, as it highlights information for your respective show – including what to do if you reside in or have visited the Northern Beaches in the last 14 days.
