Marking the 20th Anniversary of the Digimon: Digital Monsters franchise and serving as the final original-canon adventure many of us were introduced to in the early 2000s, Toei Animation screened Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna in Japanese cinemas earlier this year. Months on from the original airing, and it has been confirmed that the animated film will be released in North America digitally and physically in the coming months.
On 29 September 2020, Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna will debut as a digital download – offering both the original Japanese audio w/ English subtitles and a newly created English dub, and available via Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, the Microsoft Store and PlayStation Store. A week later on 6 October 2020, a home video DVD and Blu-ray Combo Pack from Shout Factory! will be available through select retailers.
The DVD and Blu-ray Combo Pack edition of Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna boast not only the feature film with dual language options, but also the insightful bonus feature “The Final Evolution: Remembering 20 Years of Digimon Adventure with Joshua Seth and Tom Fahn.” Those who pre-order directly from Shout Factory!, while stocks last, will also receive an exclusive 18″x24″ lithograph of the cover artwork.
As was the case with the 6-part Digimon Adventure Tri, the English voice cast is a mix of the original Saban English voice actors and well-known VAs today. A full list can be found below:

About Digimon Adventure Last Evolution Kizuna
Tai is now a university student, living alone, working hard at school, and working every day, but with his future still undecided. Meanwhile, Matt and others continue to work on Digimon incidents and activities that help people with partner Digimon.
An unprecedented phenomenon occurs and the DigiDestined discovers that when you grow up, your relationship with your partner Digimon will come closer to an end.
