Madman Bring Makoto Shinkai's Children Who Chase Lost Voices to AnimeLab 1

A couple of weeks ago, Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment announced they would be offering a new animated film via their AnimeLab video-on-demand servie every Friday this month. After starting things off with Blue Exorcist the Movie and following it up with Mamoru Hosoda’s emotional film Wolf Children, they have chosen to release Makoto Shinkai’s Children Who Chase Lost Voices on the service.

Also known as Hoshi o Ou Kodomo (星を追う子ども), Journey to Agartha or by its longer English title Children Who Chase Voices From Deep Below, this film was first screened in Japan during May 2011. It follows a young girl named Asuna, who one day is rescued from a bear attack by a boy named Shun. Following a very short friendship, Shun is found dead, leading to a series of events resulting in Asuna meeting his brother Shin and entering the mysterious world of Agartha.

Children Who Chase Lost Voices is now available on AnimeLab, exclusively for Premium Subscribers. If you want to know more about the difference between a free and premium membership, click HERE.

Children Who Chase Lost Voices is available both with the original Japanese voiceovers and the slightly newer English dub. Those listening to the Japanese voiceovers can enjoy the voices of Hisako Kanemoto, Kazuhiko Inoue and Miyu Irino. The English dub features ADR Direction by Steven Foster, with voice actors including Hilary Haag, Leralo Anzaldua, David Matranga and Corey Hartzog.

Looking for a physical copy of The Children Who Chase Lost Voices? You can still grab yourself a DVD or Blu-ray copy through either the Madman Entertainment official online store, or your local retailer of anime.
