In the most recent update to their online video-on-demand service, Australian anime publisher Hanabee Entertainment have confirmed they now hold the Australian rights to the original anime Comet Lucifer (コメット・ルシファー). This series is being animated by 8-bit, who has previously worked on series including The Fruit of Grisaia, Aquarion Evol and IS: Infinite Stratos.

Having recently begun airing in Japan earlier this month, episode one is now available for everyone to enjoy via their official website.

This is the latest in a sizable collection of mecha anime titles already licensed by Hanabee – including Captain Earth, Gargantia, Muv Luv Alternative and Aldnoah.Zero. It is presumed that Hanabee will eventually offer a home video release of this series in the next few years.
