After managing to gross approximately US$ 8.4 Million during its theatrical run in North America, FUNimation Entertainment have announced that they will be making Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ available to purchase on digital HD beginning October 9 2015. This will be followed by a home video release at select retail outlets in the United States and Canada beginning October 20 2015.

FUNimation Entertainment will be making the film available through three different physical editions, each of which will include different contents and prices to suit different budgets. Those looking to just watch the movie without many frills can purchase a standard edition collection for US$29.98 which includes just the feature film on DVD. Alternatively, those wanting to watch the film on Blu-ray can purchase the Blu-ray + DVD combo for US$34.98. Not only do you get a Blu-ray disc for the extra cost, but also gain access to approximately 50 minutes of extra on-disc features including: “The Voices of Dragon Ball Z” (An in-the-booth “making of” featurette) and “The Return of Dragon Ball Z” (Cast interviews and red carpet footage).

FUNimation Entertainment will also be offering a special Collector’s Edition of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. Priced at US$59.98, this set will include all on-disc extras in addition to premium packaging (Including a clear o-card and digipack) and a set of four holographic Frieza Force propaganda postcards.

Gen Fukunaga | Founder and CEO of FUNimation

We’re grateful to all our fans for their tremendous response and support for the theatrical release of “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. I am especially pleased to bring them the home video release so quickly after the theatrical run so they can enjoy the movie over and over again, just as we will.

In Australia, Madman Entertainment recently concluded their theatrical screenings of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. No home video release date has been confirmed for their supported regions yet.
