Anime Mirai to Feature at This Years Gold Coast Film Festival

While there have already been three anime screenings confirmed for this years Gold Coast Film Festival, the team behind the event were being very secretive about a fourth which was labelled as a “Surprise Anime Screening”. While I was personally hoping that this might have been Persona 3: The Movie, it turns out that something just as interesting will be screened instead.

The official website for the event was today updated to confirm that Anime Mirai is set to be screened at 3:30PM on the 12th April 2014. While one of the four films under this header, Little Witch Academia, has already been released in North America and reviewed on this site – this 104 minute screening will also feature ‘Ryo’, ‘Aruvu Rezuru’ and ‘Death Billiards’. Anime Mirai will be preceded by a special video intro about the project’s history and importance to the anime industry.
