Siren Visual have over the last few years brought a number of interesting and unique anime titles to the Australian market, and have today confirmed via their official Facebook page that they have something else up their sleeve – plans to release the documentary film Room 237. As I am not too familiar with the title myself, take a look at the provided description below:
Many cult movies have devout followers, bizarre interpretations and conspiracy theories surrounding them – but none more than Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining. This documentary speaks to the fanatics who think they have decoded the hidden symbols and messages apparently buried in the iconic horror film. Meticulously examining the original film, Room 237 explores if there is any truth to the far-fetched theories behind Kubrick’s masterpiece.
The film is to be screened tomorrow night at 8:30PM on SBS World Movies with the company planning a physical home video release for later this year.
