Regular users of CrunchyRoll will be glad to know that the company has just launched its new app on the Playstation 3 and is now available for free download through the Playstation Network. The focus of this app seems to be towards Premium Users at the moment, which allows them to access all their benefits including streaming of the latest episodes, searching for shows and more. Those without a Premium Membership can still download the app for free, but are limited in only being able to watch the first episode of current simulcasts to try the service out.
You can signup for a free trial via the Playstation 3 and there is a current special 30-day free trial offer for those who sign up directly through the console. Currently the Crunchyroll PS3 app is available in the US and Canada PlayStation Network however they are working on rolling it out to other countries alongside 720p and 1080p support later this year.
