New Anime/Manga Titles for August 2011 in Australia

We are well passed the half-way mark for the year and so far, the series this year from both Madman Entertainment and Siren Visual have been remarkable and catered to all audiences. Next month is no exception, with some nice titles from both companies. Whilst I have not started reviewing Madman’s titles from last month (Hopefully this week), I have reviewed titles from Siren Visual so do check them out. Anyway, here are the titles you can expect to see on shelves throughout August.

Somewhere in Germany in the not-too-distant future all hell is breaking loose… Giant, biomechanical creatures of origins unknown are terrorizing the city. Labelled as Demoniacs, the creatures appear rabid and unpredictable, killing and maiming anything in their path. The town’s citizens are terrified, the media demands answers. In response the government employs a special–forces team to investigate. Known as the Xenogenesis Assault Team (XAT), its members quickly realize the creature is capable of infecting anyone it comes in contact with; no one is safe.

A deadly new disease is ravaging the world, turning the populace into mindless zombies, and the number of infected is skyrocketing by the second. It is up to Takashi Komuro to unite the group of weary survivors and try to escape the horrors that surround them. In this new world of the living dead…will they escape?

But before the precious cargo can be delivered, the base is ambushed by galactic terrorists who seek to destroy the new form of energy and issue a death sentence to all of humanity.

Yuki finally understands who she really is, but Zero can’t accept her true self. At Rido’s coffin, watched over by Ichiru, Kaname recalls the unforgettable events of ten years earlier. So there you have it folks, whilst there are some nice titles on offer from both companies, the actual number of titles are lacking from both companies, which means you can save up some more money for September’s offerings – and I can get through this backlog. Siren Visual will continue simulcasting Usagi Drop and Dennou Coil. Madman Entertainment once again has a nice collection of manga they are distributing, which is as follows:
