Following their 2013 IndieGogo campaign which saw the community pledge over $118,000 for the development of the game, Nyu Media have confirmed that Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm will be available for purchase via Steam starting July 7 2015 at a price of $14.99 USD.
This release date is unfortunately heavily delayed from the fighting game’s initial February 2014 launch window. “Workload far [exceeding] expectations” was given as a main reason for the hold up.
Yatagarasu is a Street Fighter III inspired fighting game project undertaken by three former SNK / King of Fighter developers: Shiza, Kotani and Umezono. This localised edition is set to expand upon the NESiCAxLive version that was released in Japan last year, with features including: character commentaries, English/Japanese language support, a new story, new stages and more.
