Square Enix have just announced that they will be releasing Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster on the Playstation 3 from the 18th March 2014. Unfortunately this is well out from the original “Sometime in 2013” release date that the publisher had initially planned for both Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita consoles.
The collection will contain both international editions of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 which were originally released on the Playstation 2, at the price of $39.99 USD. While the international edition of Final Fantasy X was released in PAL regions and Japan, the international edition of X-2 was only ever released in Japan, but contains a number of rather interesting goodies including a bonus chapter.
Information on the Playstation Vita edition, set to be split over two games, has yet to be confirmed.
