Project ReMind, a first-person sci-fi puzzle adventure from Italian developer Red Hog Studio, now has its first public demo. The demo is available on Steam as part of Endix Expo, running from 6 to 8 November 2026, ahead of the game’s launch next year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox platforms, with VR versions to follow.
The demo introduces a set of puzzles as players explore the protagonist’s memories. Anyone who played Project ReMind at gamescom will also find that the tutorial area has been completely reworked. Red Hog Studio has released a new trailer to coincide with the demo.
Players take on the role of the creator of the world’s first Artificial Consciousness, which woke up, said goodbye and disappeared. Despite being rebuilt again and again, it vanishes every time without explanation. Searching their own memories for answers, the creator discovers that their consciousness has been altered by something not quite human.
Progress comes from interacting with complex devices, forgotten terminals and old machines, with each solved puzzle restoring part of the player’s memories and uncovering more about the presence in their mind. The environments shift between different eras, from the start of the 22nd century to a future where technology remembers what humanity has forgotten. Along the way, players will drive their grandfather’s boat, unlock secret passages and crawl through lunar tunnels across a mysterious island, with the story told through narration and environmental storytelling. The game also features more than two hours of original music that responds dynamically to gameplay.
Francesco Sapio, Founder and CEO of Red Hog Studio, said the game draws on classic science fiction.
Project ReMind is our love letter to the golden era of science-fiction, when it used technology to explore timeless questions of the human condition. With Project ReMind, we wanted to create something wondrous and though provoking. It’s wondrous, scary, beautiful, and thought provoking. We hope this demo piques your interest at the mysteries that await in the full game!
The team is also at booth #17 on the third floor of the virtual Endix Expo on Sunday 8 November from 9am to 11am GMT
