Acclaim is having some fun with the timing of its latest bundle. With a certain other highly anticipated “six” on the horizon, the publisher has launched Get That Acclaim SIX, a limited-time Steam bundle of six games from its catalogue, priced at under $50 USD.
The bundle covers a wide range of genres and includes Acclaim’s newly released power-washing sim, Pixel Washer. The six games are:
- Pixel Washer, a cosy, retro-inspired power-washing sim starring Pigxel, a pig on a mission to clean up a grimy town
- Katanaut, a roguelike in which players use a katana to fight through a space station overrun by cosmic horrors
- GRIDbeat!, a rhythm-based dungeon crawler about hacking into a heavily fortified corporate network
- Ground Zero Hero, an autoshooter where players explore a wasteland, eat candy and harvest the guts of enemies to evolve
- The Prisoning: Fletcher’s Quest, a microvania set inside the mind of a game developer close to burnout after a psychologist visit goes wrong
- Basketball Classics, a 5-on-5 basketball game inspired by 8-bit era arcade sports games
Marc Anthony Rodriguez, Director of Publishing & Strategic Partnerships at Acclaim, Inc., took a light-hearted swipe at the wait for other “sixes” when introducing the bundle.
Unlike some other SIXes, our GET THAT ACCLAIM SIX PC Bundle is affordable, available right now, and actually comes with six games. We know, it’s a pretty wild concept. Six games you can actually play today, without waiting years, downloading massive updates, or wondering when they’re coming out. Just great games, ready when you are and immediately fun.
Get That Acclaim SIX is available now on Steam.
