Agent 47’s latest target is a content creator, played by a real one. IO Interactive has launched The Host, a new Elusive Target mission for HITMAN World of Assassination featuring the likeness and voice of Seán McLoughlin, better known as Jacksepticeye. The mission is available until 25 November 2026.
McLoughlin plays Finn Colton, known online as Finnvictus, a popular, controversial and now very wealthy content creator and former children’s television star. Colton has been regularly criticised for exploitative contracts that push his staff to their limits. Agent 47’s client is a relative of one of those creators, who disappeared after signing with the Finnvictus team. The evidence points to her murder, with Colton as the culprit, but his wealth and influence have made justice hard to come by.
Colton is secretive and paranoid, spending most of his time at a remote content complex in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, where cameras livestream every part of his life around the clock. To get inside, the client has arranged for 47 to appear on the Finn and Friends podcast as “thought leader” Tobias Rieper. With cameras everywhere, 47 needs to stay out of sight. IO Interactive describes the mission as a darkly comic look at Colton’s bizarre content empire, drawing a comparison between the two men: like 47, Colton wears many masks to make a living, but unlike 47, he is not at peace with being “nothing” underneath them. Players need access to the Hawke’s Bay location to play.
McLoughlin said appearing in the game after years of playing it with his community was a surreal experience.
I’ve been playing HITMAN with my community for years, so getting to actually step into the World of Assassination is unreal. Finn is loud, paranoid, and completely obsessed with content, and playing him was an absolute blast. I can’t wait to see all the creative ways you take him down, so make sure you’re recording it!
The Host also kicks off a new free roadmap, the Season of The Host. Alongside the Elusive Target, there is The Host Assignment, a Special Assignment with five challenges featuring Jacksepticeye as Finn Colton, and a new “Like Mist” challenge that rewards The Vampire Magician Suit. Three Elusive Targets are also returning: The Pharmacist in Paris, The Warlord in Bangkok and The Entertainer in Marrakesh. A new Twitch Drop offers the Royal Purple Banana, players who play The Host with an IOI Account will unlock The Hijacker Duck, and a new batch of Featured Contracts is also on the way.
For players who want to keep the content beyond the event, The Host Pack is available for $7.99, €7.99 or £6.99. It includes permanent access to The Collab, an Arcade contract featuring The Host Elusive Target, and The Host Assignment, along with the Thought Leader Suit with Gloves, The Persona “Suit”, the Demon Dakota 12G, the DXTR PlayFactory Controller, the Creator Soundboard and the Kwineeny Collectible.
