Smalland 2: Lost Realms has given players their first proper look at gameplay, along with news that it is now aiming for a 2027 release. Maximum Entertainment has released the first gameplay trailer for the survival adventure, and says the 2027 target is about delivering the best experience possible.
The trailer seeks to present potential players with insights from the development team on what is new in the sequel and how they are building on the experience. It shows the perk system in action for the first time, alongside the new resource gathering and crafting systems. Climbing and swimming also appear, giving a first look in trailer form at abilities that had previously been teased online.
The development team is continuing to work on new gameplay systems and expanded ways to explore the game’s world ahead of the newly announced 2027 release window.
