Moonlight Peaks is heading to another platform next month. Marvelous Europe and Little Chicken Game Company have announced that the supernatural “(un-)life sim” will release digitally on PlayStation 5 on 17 November 2026. This port will join the PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 releases, which launched earlier this year in July.
Moonlight Peaks will be priced at €34.99 on PS5 (or local equivalent). PlayStation Plus subscribers can get 20% off during launch week, from 17 November to 24 November. PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also have access to a two-hour trial from 17 November, with progress carrying over to the full game if they buy it.
Players customise their own vampire and move into a magical town that is also home to werewolves, witches, mermaids and other creatures. The goal is to prove to a sceptical father that a life of compassion is possible, even for the undead. That means making friends with the locals, uncovering the history of the seven families that live in Moonlight Peaks and, for those interested, finding romance, with two dozen characters available to date.
Much of the game centres on the family’s haunted cottage and the forgotten farm that comes with it. Players can decorate the home in their own gothic style and work the land to grow enchanted crops and raise magical livestock, unlocking new tools and expanding the property over time. Vampire abilities also play a part, with players able to shapeshift into other forms to explore the town, brew potions and build up a grimoire of spells that help with farming and gathering resources. As a vampire, the player also needs to be back in their coffin before sunrise.
Outside of farming, there is fishing, foraging, potion-crafting, embroidery and flower arranging to try, among other activities. Players can also collect cards for Nokturna, a game popular in town, and challenge other residents to a match.
