Collectors in TCG: Card Shop Simulator have new cards to chase. O.P. Neon Games has released the game’s Halloween update, adding a new card box, more rare Ghost cards and a rework of how bulk boxes are handled. The update is available now on Steam (PC), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
The main addition is the Ascension Card Box, which brings a new set of collectibles into the game. Alongside it are six new Ghost cards, taking the total number of these rare cards to 24.
The Workbench bulk box system has also been reorganised with future expansions in mind. The separate Tetramon and Destiny Bulk Boxes have been combined into one generic Bulk Box, which is designed to support new card sets as they are added. Existing Tetramon and Destiny Bulk Boxes will stay in current saves, but they can no longer be made and will not appear in the price app.
A new higher tier, the OG Bulk Box (Omega Grade), has also been introduced. It has a base price of $4,000 in-game and is created automatically once the total value of bundled bulk cards goes over $5,000. On the pricing side, the Workbench price slider limit has been raised to $100, giving players more control over what they charge for bulk boxes.
Several technical improvements are included as well. Lighting and materials have been adjusted to bring back the game’s original look, and customer models now use LOD1 to fix a GPU bottleneck, which should help performance when the shop gets busy. Two bugs have also been fixed: one that sometimes left players stuck and unable to play cards in TCG mode, and another that stopped quality settings from working properly.
In TCG: Card Shop Simulator, players run their own local game store, selling booster packs to earn money and grow the business. They can stock shelves with the latest packs or open them to build a personal collection, as well as set prices, hire staff and host tournaments.
