With Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 coming in 2027, its predecessor is getting its own final celebration. Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the Final Festival of Universes, a worldwide event celebrating Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s 10th anniversary. The festival kicks off on 29th October at 5.00pm PDT. For Aussies, that’s 11.00am AEDT on Friday 30th October 2026.
Participating in the event can also pay off in the sequel. Participants can earn a new Gi created for the festival and a commemorative medal. Once Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 launches in 2027, owning either item will unlock special items in the new game when players link their Bandai Namco ID, with the reward depending on which item they have.
During the festival you can increase your camaraderie with characters you’ve had in your party (Trunks, the Supreme Kai of Time and Fu). Hard-to-get items are returning, and Star Coin earnings are up to 25x their normal amount, so it’s easier to spend them on rewards.
There’s a free update coming prior to the event on 27th October with new Login Bonus Rewards and Special Costumes. The update also refreshes the Gallery of Time (which players can unlock by buying the FUTURE SAGA Chapter 4 DLC).
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 lets players create their own character, explore Conton City, and team up with characters from the series who act as teachers, helping them train for battles against powerful enemies to protect the flow of History. The game is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
