Another reveal during the latest Nintendo Direct was the Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition, a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the action title. A physical release has been dated for 28 August 2026, with pre-orders open now.
The package brings Devil May Cry 5 to the console with a range of included content. Players can take control of Nero, Dante, V or Vergil across combat encounters, with each character offering their own fighting styles, weapons and moves as they work through enemy opposition.
Beyond the base game, the Devil Hunter Edition bundles in the Vergil playable character DLC alongside additional extras such as costume colours, taunts and battle tracks. The edition is set to run at 60 frames per second in both TV and handheld modes.
