Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, a new management simulation game developed by Kairosoft Inc. The title is scheduled to launch on 23 October 2026 across Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam and both iOS and Android mobile devices.
The game centres on Baratie Number 2, where players team up with the Straw Hat Crew to build and run a restaurant of their own. Beginning with a modest ship, the loop involves gathering ingredients, preparing dishes and laying out the space, with the goal of growing the establishment into a leading culinary spot on the seas.
Cooking is handled with assistance from Sanji, and the menu spans recipes tied to the ONE PIECE setting. Options range from established dishes such as Water-Water Meat BBQ through to creations shaped by Devil Fruit powers, and players can experiment with ingredients to assemble their own set menus. Further recipes and opportunities open up as the restaurant expands.
Characters from the series turn up as customers, each with their own preferences. The publisher boasts over 400 characters making their first appearance in a pixel art style, drawn from the Straw Hat Crew through to other figures across the series. These characters can interact, work and dine within the restaurant, which in turn unlocks events and additional moments.
Customisation is another component, with more than 200 furniture and decorative items available for designing interiors. Setups can draw on locations such as Whole Cake Island and Egghead, and different arrangements are said to attract different characters while encouraging repeat visitors.
