Wild Forest Studio and Curve Games have announced that Dragon Shelter will launch globally for PC via Steam on 24 September 2026. Dragon Shelter is a fantasy farming adventure set in a hand painted world where players work to restore the bond between humans and dragons. The game seeks to combine cosy farming, dragon care, exploration and light RPG progression.
A new demo is available now on Steam, giving players access to the opening hours of the game. In the demo, players can begin rebuilding and replanting a run down farm, befriend a water dragon, experiment with water based terraforming and cook jam and other recipes for the local townsfolk.
In Dragon Shelter, players will grow crops, craft tools, build relationships with townspeople and raise a variety of dragons. Each dragon has its own personality and abilities, with the creatures helping to restore biomes, uncover secrets and push back against a creeping desolation threatening the land.
Dragon Shelter will feature dragon management, magical farming systems, cooking, crafting, biome exploration and seasonal changes. Players will also be able to build relationships with a growing community of characters, while festivals and activities change across four distinct seasons.
