The newest mobile entry in the Dragon Quest series, titled Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, has officially entered its pre-registration phase on iOS and Android platforms. Square Enix announced the milestone alongside a new promotional video narrated by veteran voice actor Toshio Furukawa, who voices the hero’s mechanical companion, Roly.
This smartphone title takes the franchise in a new direction as a roguelite RPG. While the game features series staples, the gameplay focus shifts toward the growth and combat mechanics typical of the roguelite genre. You can see more of the game in-action below, with the newly released screenshots and trailer for the game.
Players who sign up early via the App Store or Google Play will receive 10 Premium Transmuter Vouchers at launch. According to Square Enix, these vouchers are sufficient for 10 pulls from the game’s Premium Transmuter system. Dragon Quest Smash/Grow is currently listed for pre-registration on both Google Play and iOS App Store digital storefronts.
