Anime streaming platform HIDIVE has confirmed the release details for the upcoming supernatural action anime, Petals of Reincarnation. The series is scheduled to debut on Thursday 2 April 2026 at 12:30 pm ET, with new English subtitled simulcast episodes following every Thursday throughout the spring season. The series will be available exclusively on the HIDIVE platform for viewers in a number of countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
To accompany the scheduling announcement, the service has also released the third official English language key visual and promotional video for the production – which you can find to the left and below respectively.
Petals of Reincarnation‘s narrative enters on a supernatural object called the Branch of Reincarnation. This item has the ability to grant individuals the specific talents of their past lives, provided they use the branch to slit their own throats. The protagonist, Toya Senji, is a teenager struggling with self-esteem issues as he lives in the shadow of his successful older brother. Despite his academic efforts, he finds little satisfaction in his life until a chance encounter with a classmate named Haito Luo Buffett. Haito is revealed to be a Returner, someone who has already resurrected the abilities of her previous life using the branch – as she goes up against a serial killer.
