Ubisoft has launched Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, a comprehensive collection celebrating three decades of the platforming series. Developed by Digital Eclipse in partnership with Ubisoft Montpellier, the title is currently available digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Ubisoft Store. It has also been added to the Ubisoft+ subscription service.
This anniversary package compiles five distinct versions of the original 1995 game, allowing players to experience the title as it appeared on PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color. The collection includes the classic environments of the Dream Forest and Band Lands, where players must rescue Electoons and defeat the villainous Mr. Dark.
Beyond the original releases, the edition introduces several pieces of previously unreleased and expanded content. A notable addition is a playable SNES prototype, which provides a look at an early, cancelled version of the game. Players also have access to 120 additional levels sourced from various bonus packs released throughout the history of the franchise. The audio has been updated with a reimagined soundtrack by composer Christophe Héral, who previously worked on Rayman Origins.
To assist with the difficulty for which the original game is known, the developers have integrated several quality of life features. These include a 60 second rewind function, infinite lives, and an invincibility mode. The release also features an interactive documentary containing over 50 minutes of interviews with the original development team, alongside a gallery of concept art, design documents, and early sketches.
Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition is priced at a suggested retail price of $19.99 USD. While the digital versions are available now, a physical edition is scheduled to be released in selected regions during June 2026.
