Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have released the first full trailer for Battlefield 6, giving players an early taste of the series’ next bout of large-scale warfare.
The footage reveals Pax Armata, a privately funded military force backed by former NATO states whose rise threatens to ignite a new global conflict. Their presence frames both the return of a dedicated single-player campaign and the series’ multiplayer offering.
Familiar series hallmarks are once again front and centre: building façades crumble under fire, entire structures can be levelled for a tactical edge, and jet-powered dogfights rage overhead while tank columns thunder below. The trailer also teases squad-focused manoeuvres, seeking to reinforce the long-running mantra that the most dangerous weapon on the field is teamwork.
A deeper dive is scheduled for Friday, 1 August 2025, when Battlefield Studios will host a live multiplayer reveal at 4:30 am AEST (get your alarms set and ready!). Expect a first look at several of the launch maps, confirmation of new and returning game modes, and developer commentary on why the team considers this the series’ most ambitious outing yet. Immediately after the broadcast, select FPS creators will begin streaming hands-on gameplay from satellite events in Los Angeles, Berlin, Paris and London, with a follow-up session planned in Hong Kong on 2 August 2025.
