The anime franchise One Piece will once again take over the Las Vegas skyline with a large-scale visual activation on the Exosphere, the exterior of the Sphere, during Licensing Expo 2025. Toei Animation has confirmed that the 90-second animation, originally showcased in June 2024, will return from 19 to 21 May 2025 to coincide with the industry event.
Displayed on the world’s largest spherical structure, which stands 112 metres tall and 157 metres wide, the animation marks the largest visual promotion in the history of the One Piece franchise. It will serve as a centrepiece for Toei Animation’s presence at the expo, where the studio will meet with prospective licensing partners at its booth (#C196) in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. While many fans may not get the opportunity to actually attend the expo itself, it is nice that there will be a fun activation for all fans local to the area to enjoy.

The franchise’s latest story arc, Egghead Island, resumed its simulcast in April, with new episodes airing weekly.
