GIANTS Software has announced the upcoming Plains & Prairies Pack for Farming Simulator 25, scheduled for release on 3 June 2025. This expansion introduces more than 20 new machines and three new brands to the game, including Ford, marking its first appearance in the franchise.
Ford joins the roster with the Ford 976 and 1156 Versatile tractors, both originally manufactured between 1988 and 1993. These classic machines remain well-regarded in agricultural circles and will now be available for virtual farmers to operate.
In addition to Ford, the pack introduces equipment from GEA and Trout River, and includes new models from established brands such as Brandt, Fendt, International, Salford, Väderstad, and Versatile. Among the highlights are the Versatile 1080 “Big Roy” and modern pneumatic sprayers like the Fendt Rogator 900 and Salford Independent Series 1260.
The Plains & Prairies Pack also seeks to add other features such as trailers with moving covers, enabling crop protection during transport, and functional lift axles for improved manoeuvrability. This is particularly useful when operating large equipment, such as the newly added GEA STR 447 manure tanker.
Farming Simulator 25 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with the Plains & Prairies Pack included in the Year 1 Season Pass. Additional paid and free content, including user-generated modifications, will continue to be released via the official ModHub.
