After entering early access a couple of days ago for special edition holders, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is now officially available worldwide on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. This also follow’s the games earlier release on Xbox Series X|S and PC last year.
Developed by MachineGames in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and positioned narratively between Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the single-player story features a blend of cinematic storytelling, archaeological puzzles, and close-quarters combat.
The PlayStation version benefits from console-specific features, such as haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and lightbar status indicators via the DualSense controller. For those needing a hand with puzzles or missions, full Community Game Help integration is also. Meanwhile on PlayStation 5, the game boasts enhanced visual fidelity, while standard PlayStation 5 players can experience high-resolution visuals at a stable 60 frames per second.
With the launch comes the addition of two new gameplay mechanics: “Open Season”, which increases damage dealt to whip-struck enemies, and “Sleight of Hand”, allowing players to disarm foes and retrieve their weapons. Both features are available now across all supported platforms.
Looking ahead, MachineGames is preparing a new downloadable content expansion, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants, set to launch later this year. This story-driven DLC will be included with the Premium and Premium Upgrade editions.
