Magical Princess, a child-rearing simulation game developed by Neotro Inc. and based on the Magical board game series from MAGI Inc., has been announced for PC, to be released at a later date. The title marks the first digital adaptation of the board games, which also cover Magical Bakery, Magical Patisserie, and Magical Kingdom.
Set in the whimsical Panetteria kingdom, the story follows a devoted father striving to raise his daughter, Alice, while balancing the demands of daily life. With his feline companion Ebon by his side, he must guide Alice from early childhood through to her graduation from the Royal Magic Academy. As the years pass, mysterious developments begin to unfold, suggesting Alice’s fate may be intertwined with that of the kingdom itself.
Gameplay centres around how the father chooses to raise Alice. By planning her daily routine, players can influence attributes such as Stamina, Intelligence, Charm, and Sense. These traits determine how Alice matures – she may become an accomplished student or take a more rebellious path, depending on the guidance she receives. Her wardrobe, too, can reflect her upbringing, with options ranging from refined to more mischievous styles.
Evenings present more unpredictable challenges. Alice might be tempted by various “extracurricular” activities, including a peculiar part-time job, visits to a questionable clothing shop, or late-night parties that could distract from her studies. The father’s role is to ensure she finds the right path amidst these temptations.
Throughout her journey, Alice can befriend over 30 unique characters, including classmates and teachers. These relationships shape both her development and the narrative direction, with one connection potentially leading to a lifelong bond. The game features a richly layered story told through hundreds of thousands of words, 700 pages of comic-style cutscenes, over 170 date events, and more than 50 different endings.
