Aksys Games has released new downloadable content for the horror visual novel Spirit Hunter: Death Mark on the Nintendo Switch. Titled Chapter 7: Kaerazu’s Amusement Park, the add-on presents a new storyline that offers a different perspective on the events of the original game.
In this chapter, players follow Moe Watanabe, a rookie occult journalist, who visits Kujou Mansion only to discover that both Yashiki and Mashita are missing. Her search leads her to an abandoned amusement park on the outskirts of the city—a place surrounded by rumours that no one who enters ever returns. Accompanied by Tsukasa, Shou, and Daimon, Moe must uncover the mystery of the disappearances and the truth behind the legend of the Great Kaerazu.
The additional content is now available via the Nintendo eShop for $9.99. Players must download patch 01.02 to ensure compatibility with the base game. The new chapter can be accessed directly from the title screen without needing to complete the main game.
Originally released as part of the Spirit Hunter series, Death Mark introduces players to a supernatural mystery set in Tokyo’s H City. The narrative revolves around a rumour that those who bear a strange mark on their body are doomed to die. Players must navigate eerie encounters and make critical decisions to survive against hostile spirits.
