Sunborn Games has officially launched Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium worldwide on PC and mobile. Following a closed beta in November and a pre-registration campaign attracting over 5 million players, the tactical RPG has begun its global journey in a market brimming with new releases, all vying for consumer attention.
The game serves as a sequel to Girls’ Frontline, continuing the franchise that spans serialized manga, multiple anime adaptations, and spin-off games. Players take on the role of Commanders, leading anime-inspired androids known as T-Dolls—advanced units modeled after real-world weaponry—into turn-based strategic battles. Each T-Doll offers distinct abilities, such as dealing damage, tanking, or healing, making team composition a critical element for success.
Outside of combat, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium provides a world where players can interact with T-Dolls in the Refitting Room and Dormitory. These interactions allow players to customize combat suits, play minigames, and explore each T-Doll’s personality, brought to life through voice acting by renowned talent like Marina Inoue (Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia) and Naomi Ōzora (Valkyria Chronicles, Shin Megami Tensei) among many others.
Players who pre-registered have unlocked milestone rewards for all players, including Access Permission x10 and the Tactical Doll Cheeta. From launch, Commanders can earn over 30 targeted Access Permissions through login tasks. Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is free to download and play on PC and mobile platforms.
