ATLUS has announced the release of a free demo for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, now available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Players can explore the demon-collecting RPG through two story paths: the new Canon of Vengeance storyline or the original Canon of Creation story from the base game.
The demo allows players to traverse the post-apocalyptic world of Da’at, a wasteland engulfed in the battle between angels and demons. Progress made in the demo carries over to the full game, enabling a seamless transition for players continuing their journey. Both story paths can be explored in their respective sections of the demo.
This demo follows the release of a recent patch, which introduced several updates across all platforms, including:
A new demon, Kishin Marici.Fan-selected Demon Navigators: Hell Biker, Idun, Fionn mac Cumhaill, Mothman, Mara, and Cleopatra.An Elite Difficulty option for the Virtual Trainer mode.
Released earlier this year, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance serves as the definitive version of the originally Nintendo Switch exclusive RPG, featuring a new storyline arc, additional characters, expanded areas to explore, a new dungeon, more accessible gameplay, a revised battle system, new demon experiences and more.
The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
