Jackbox Games has announced that two new game modes are in development for The Jackbox Survey Scramble, with a free update bringing them to players soon. The game, currently available on major platforms including Steam, Xbox One / Series X|S, PlayStation 4/5, and Nintendo Switch, is a survey-based party game where answers from players worldwide shape the experience in real-time.
At launch, The Jackbox Survey Scramble included four game modes: Hilo, Bounce, Squares, and Speed. Soon, the two additional modes, Dash and Dares, will seek to expand the gameplay on offer:
- Dash: A race to identify the most popular answers from global survey data. Players can double down on their choices for greater rewards—or penalties—and send additional options to opponents to slow them down. Strategy and public opinion knowledge are key to claiming victory.
- Dares: A high-stakes mode where players set challenges for one another by predicting higher or lower rankings on lists. The mode encourages bold wagers, with points rewarded for accurate guesses or impressive feats.
Both new modes will be fully localised in multiple languages, including French, Italian, German, Castilian Spanish, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
