Infold Games has announced that Infinity Nikki, the latest title in the Nikki franchise, will launch globally on 5 December 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android platforms. With over 30 million players pre-registered, Infinity Nikki invites fans to explore the world of Miraland, in an environment which from previews is best described as… adorable!
Helmed by Kentaro Tominaga, known for his work on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, Infinity Nikki expands the series into an open-world format, allowing players to engage in activities such as fishing, pet grooming, and fashion contests. The game also features a range of characters and narrative-driven quests, alongside platforming challenges that take advantage of Nikki’s movement abilities.
Infinity Nikki aims to provide players with an immersive and richly detailed open world, where players can interact with unique environments and solve puzzles. Key features include opportunities to glide, float, and explore creatively designed settings such as soaring paper cranes, speeding minecarts, and mysterious ghost trains. But with monoliths already existing in the live service market of a similar genre, does Infinity Nikki offer enough to keep players hooked for years to come? Time will tel.
